Batangas City

Batangas is one of the most popular tourist destinations near Metro Manila. It is home to the well-known Taal Volcano, one of the Decade Volcanoes, and Taal Heritage town, a small town that has ancestral houses and structures dating back to the 19th century. The province also has numerous beaches and diving spots including Anilao in Mabini, Sombrero Island in Tingloy, Ligpo Island and Sampaguita Beach in Bauan, Matabungkay in Lian, Punta Fuego in NasugbuCalatagan and Laiya in San Juan. All of the marine waters of the province are part of the Verde Island Passage, the center of the center of world’s marine biodiversity.

Batangas have many tourist spot that still hidden. Like the Lobo Pebble beach, but there’s also a tourist spot that preferred to visit of every individual like the Taal Basilica, Celeruega, Saint Padre Pio Parish and Shrine.

Taal Basilica-The Taal Basilica, canonically known as the Minor Basilica of Saint Martin of Tours (FilipinoBasilika ni San Martin ng ToursSpanishBasílica Menor de San Martín de Tours), is a Minor Basilica in the town of TaalBatangas in the Philippines, within the Archdiocese of Lipa. It is considered to be the largest church in the Philippines and in Asia, standing 88.6 metres (291 ft) long and 48 metres (157 ft) wide.
